In her support of the KASSSI charity, Juliette O’Brien has been using her skills and talent to produce her unique brand of artistry to raise funds to donate to the three schools in Westmoreland that KASSSI assists.
As a result of the donations raised by her artwork, Juliette has kindly agreed to donate 200 GBP to the charity.
Please read Juliette’s comments to the KASSSI CEO, Garth Walcott outlining the generosity displayed by individuals in support of Juliette’s artwork and the charity.
“Dear G, my brother. As you are aware, for 8 weeks now, I embarked upon a fundraising venture, in support of the KASSSI Charity.
Utilising my Artwork, to raise funds for the Charity, was actually an initial concept, which you suggested to me and which I implemented, evidently, successfully.
Today, I am pleased to inform you, that everything went smoothly. I calculated the donations this morning and I was pleasantly surprised to note that I’ve raised 200.00 for KASSSI.
During my fundraising journey, I was amazed by the generosity, kindness and love shown to me and to the cause. One particular aspect of the donations was rather heartening, when I realised that half of those who gave to the Charity, were not even working. The other half were actually students; absolutely incredible.
Through this venture, I’ve also made some new friends. I’m certain that the three schools in Westmoreland, Jamaica, that we are supporting, will be most grateful, for this success. Until next year, blessings always Juliette O’Brien (Sister)”.
