After four years studying at the Knockalva Agricultural School, Barrington Perry happily accepted his Certificate of General Management Skills in all aspects of animal rearing & farming. His very proud parents Reginald and Beverly Perry pictured below with him at the ceremony expressed their gratitude to KASSSI for supporting them throughout this time.
Mr. Perry says “God bless the charity for all the good work they do”.
“The last of four children and the only one to have attended college, we are so proud”.
The Graduation ceremony took place in July 2013. Barrington says “I am elated, dis is how mi feel yuh know Miss Sadie. Thanks ms, thanks ms, please tell all yuh officers”
We wish him good luck with the job search!
This looks really authentic. Well done kassi. The young man seems genuinely grateful. When he expresses his thanks in Patois, this gives it even more credibility. Did the family consent to have their picture displayed for the World to view? Just a thought!
Keep up the great work… Jamaica needs it!
In a bid to show more gratitude to the charity, Mr. Perry met with us outside his gate with a handful of sweet corn (on the cob) expressing ” it should be much yuh nuh miss, but gad know a dis wi have”, all home grown. We accepted with much appreciation. Whenever a picture is requested following explanation (regarding consent for publication) KASSSI takes note of responses
Team Jamaica will continue to encourage community development in as many areas as possible within KASSSI’s Aims & Objectives
